Established 1983

The Big Game Rifle Club of Victoria was founded in 1983 by a small group of enthusiasts in Melbourne. The first shoot, held on the 100th anniversary of the Field Rifle Trials in London, attracted a good turnout of collectors and shooters, and the club was off and running. The Victorian branch was soon followed by an avid group from New South Wales. Queensland was not far behind and now boasts a number of branches across the state.
